Uhuru challenges Kidero to sign up Sh38bn medical equipment project

President Kenyatta said the commissioning of the new national titling centre marks a great day for the country and expressed optimism the Jubilee government will fulfil its pre-election promise to issue 3 million tiltes before 2017.

“Today, thanks to the lands ministry, we are seeing that reality. I am certain we shall achieve, if not surpass our objectives”, said an obviously impressed Head of State.

He said once the current digitalisation process is complete, Kenyans should stop making land a political issue and turn it into an economic entity as it should –to unleash growth and unlock economic potential for the country.
“For far too long, land has been a political issue. Our people should now use land to bring prosperity to our country,” said President Kenyatta.
He said he was impressed with the ongoing reforms at the Lands ministry where previous chaos was being used by some people to benefit a few while impoverishing the majority of Kenyans.
“If we keep this momentum, we shall sort the land problem in this country. My government gives 150 percent support of what the ministry if doing,” said President Kenyatta.
