‘I never called Gilgil weighbridge’ – Kamama

Kamama who addressed a press conference at Parliament buildings also urged the Nandi Hills MP to apologise for his actions saying he also expected one since he was wrongly mentioned.

Keter has declined to apologise to the officers, saying he stands by his remarks, insisting he was there to fight for Kenyans.

Detectives at the EACC and the CID are investigating the matter and have already taken statements from Keter, his counterpart nominated MP Sunjeev Birdi and the Nakuru County Commissioner Osman Warfa.

Keter recorded a statement at the Gilgil Police Station over the matter.

Statehouse Comptroller Lawrence Lenayapa and Kamama will record their statements Thursday.
