THIKA, Kenya, Dec 9 – The burial of the family of lawyer Paul Magu is currently underway at their home in Kiganjo village, Thika West Sub-county

Magu, his wife and their three children are to be buried in one grave. A sombre mood engulfed the area where hundreds of mourners gathered.

Police are still investigating the mysterious deaths believed to have been committed by their father, Paul Magu (35).

His wife Lydia Wangui Ndau, 34, their children Ryan Ndau Magu, 9, Allen Muhiu Magu, 8, and Tiffany Wambui Magu, 5, were all killed in mysterious circumstances

Lydia was first to be found dead with burns on her body, before Paul ran into the path of an oncoming bus that killed him on the Thika-Garissa highway.

The three children were found dead days later in a thicket in Kiambu with their bodies mutilated and burnt with acid. Investigations are currently ongoing with Ann Wanyoro, a pastor linked to the family, being held by the police.

It is believed that she could have information that could unravel the mysterious deaths.

Reports indicate that Paul left a suicide note stating: “I cannot live a life of ridicule and embarrassment. Let it be.”
