NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 9- One person has been stabbed to death and several others injured after Majengo youths protested Saturday’s killing of terror suspect Hassan Guti.

Chaos broke out after the stone-throwing youths attacked motorists and passerby immediately after they buried him at Kikowani cemetery on Sunday morning.

A team of General Service Unit dispersed the youth who attempted to barricade Jomo Kenyatta, in an operation led by Mombasa police boss Geoffrey Mayek.

Tension remains high in Majengo after his followers vowed to revenge his death.

Guti who was on police watch list was shot at close range outside Arya Nursery and Primary School while driving his car.

Police said Guti was shot four times by assailants who escaped in unmarked vehicle and was pronounced dead while undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
