, NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept 17 – Four police officers were on Tuesday night killed when a vehicle rammed into them near a roadblock in Emali.
According to police, three of them died instantly while the fourth died while undergoing treatment in hospital.
A fifth officer who sustained injuries is admitted to hospital alongside four passengers who were in the saloon car.
The driver fled the scene but was later arrested.
The officers from both the regular and Administration Police were among officers stationed at the roadblock on the Emali-Loitoktok road, on the outskirts of the town.
