NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 17 – President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to address the nation at 2.30pm on Tuesday.

His address comes as the country mourns the massacre of over 60 people killed by gunmen in Mpeketoni area in Lamu.

So far, the Al Shabaab militia group has claimed responsibility for the killings.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph ole Lenku claims the attacks were as a result of political incitement.

Lenku warned that the violence was likely to spread to other parts of the country.
