Many contracts at the Judiciary are shoddy – Registrar

Amadi however places the blame for the misappropriation of pubic funds in the Judiciary, as reported by the Auditor General, squarely on Shollei’s shoulders.

“Some of these failures were purely as a result of failure of the administrative staff to discharge their functions diligently and professionally; because if the JSC (Judicial Service Commission) asked me to append my signature on something that was not legal or procedural I’d rather not have the job,” she said.

She thereafter went on hand over an internal audit conducted by the JSC, over the same irregularities as the Auditor General. to the PAC.

An audit that showed the rot in the Judiciary went much deeper than brought out by the Auditor General, she said.
