NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 9 – Two people have succumbed to injuries following Saturday night’s grisly road accident along the busy Nakuru -Eldoret Highway involving a trailer, a Matatu and a Saloon Car where10 people died on the spot.
The trailer from Eldoret lost control and rammed into the two vehicles, in what Traffic Commandant Samuel Kimaru says could have been failure of breaks or free wheeling.
Speaking to Capital FM News, Kimaru said the two who died on Saturday night were among 10 casualties who were rushed to Molo District Hospital and Rift Valley hospital.
Kimaru said the accident occurred at Salgaa area. “Drivers should avoid freewheeling when at that spot…it’s one of the notorious black spots that we have,” he stated.
He said among the casualties matatu were members of one family who were headed to a family gathering.
