Flying Squad operative Abisalom Maleya who was to be Prosecution Witness 12 was however not at hand to shed light on the discrepancies between Chemjor and Ombati’s testimonies as he did not turn up for his court date.
“His phone is off your honour and his superiors did not give him any other orders other than to be in court today,” Prosecuting attorney Mungai Warui informed Ochenja.
The hearing was adjourned to March 3, 5 and 6 with a mention scheduled for February 10.
