Wetangula takes early lead in Bungoma poll

Kombo came second with 29,409 votes while Makali had 804 votes and Wakoli had 696 votes.

By 7:05pm, 368 polling stations had filed their results giving Wetangula first position once again with 48,807 votes.

Kombo came second with 26,896 votes followed by Makali with 738 votes and Wakoli with 624 votes.

By 7:00pm, 322 polling stations out of 942 had filed their results placing Wetangula in first position with 41,187 votes.

Kombo came in second with 23,188 votes while Makali had 645 votes followed closely by Wakoli’s 552 votes.

By 6:55pm, 292 polling stations had filed their results again giving Wetangula an early lead with 36,746 votes.

Kombo came second with 20,921 votes while independent candidate Makali came a distant third with 573 votes followed by Wakoli’s 517 votes.

At 6:50pm, 251 polling stations had filed their results with Wetangula once again in the lead with 30,216 votes.

Kombo came second with 17,830 votes while Makali came a distant third with 481 votes followed by Wakoli with 453 votes.

By 6:45pm, 212 polling stations had filed their results giving Wetangula a lead with 23,906 votes.

Kombo came second with 14,844 votes while Makali came a distant third with 380 votes followed by Wakoli’s 357 votes.

At 6:40pm, 187 polling stations had filed their results again showing Wetangula in the lead with 20,755 votes.

Kombo came second with 12,779 votes while independent candidate Makali came a distant third with 318 votes.

Wakoli was trailing in fourth position with 256 votes.

By 6:35pm, 156 polling stations had filed their results again placing Wetangula in the lead with 16,870 votes.

Kombo was still trailing in second place with 10,471 votes while Makali came a distant third with 278 votes followed by Wakoli’s 213 votes.

At 6:31pm, 136 polling stations had filed their results and at the time Wetangula had 14,126 votes followed by Kombo with 8,737 votes.

Makali was third with 214 votes while Wakoli had 189 votes.

At 6:25pm, 107 polling stations had filed their results and Wetangula was still leading with 10,752 votes.

Kombo came in second with 6,535 votes while independent candidate David Makali came third with 163 votes.

Wakoli was trailing in fourth place with 141 votes.

At 6:19pm, 80 polling stations had reported their results.

Wetangula had garnered 7,618 votes, while Kombo had 5,041 votes followed by Makali’s 120 votes.

Wakoli on the other hand had 107 votes.
