According to police, six people died on the spot while four others succumbed to injuries in hospital on Friday.
The accident occurred when a truck rolled downhill and rammed into five taxis, at the Subuiga black spot.
Police said, seven other people were still nursing serious injuries in hospital, following the accident that occurred at the Meru-Isiolo turn off.
Traffic Commandant, Samuel Kimaru, has warned motorists to strictly adhere to traffic regulations to avoid unnecessary accidents.
“We can’t afford to continue losing our people due to reckless driving, drivers must learn to embrace sanity,” Kimaru said.
