President mourns former PC Lekolool

, NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 26 – President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence to the family, relatives and friends of former Provincial Commissioner Francis Lekolool.

The President described the late Lekolool as an illustrious servant of the people whose persevering determination saw him rise through the various ranks in the Provincial Administration to reach the position of Provincial Commissioner.

“Indeed, he was a man of great insight and unique leadership qualities.

His exemplary virtues of hardwork and dedication to duty were an inspiration to many of his colleagues,” he said.

He observed that the late Lekolool had the exceptional virtue of being a good organizer and completed many projects in the areas he served as an Administrator.

He was also at the forefront in promoting peace between the Samburu and neighbouring communities, the President said.

“His death is not only a big loss to his family but also to the nation, which he served with commitment and dedication,” he said.

The President prayed to God to give the late Lekolool’s family the strength and courage to bear the loss.
