President Uhuru condemns Narasha evictions

President Kenyatta said his government will work with leaders from across the political divide to develop the country for the benefit of all Kenyans.

He appealed to leaders to shun divisive politics and work together to improve the lives of Kenyans.

“Mine is a government that will serve all Kenyans in a just manner and without discrimination,” the President said.

He asked leaders to lead by example by respecting the law and the rights of others.

President Kenyatta put on notice civil servants who failed to execute their duties in a civilized manner.

Speaking during the occasion Deputy President William Ruto commended the public in the area for embracing peace despite the challenges.

The Deputy President stressed that disputes should be resolved through peaceful means, pointing out that the Government’s transformative agenda can only succeed in a conducive environment.

During the rally attended by 25 Members of Parliament among other elected leaders from the three counties, the people in the area resolved to live harmoniously and support government’s development agenda.
