NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 25 – Ballot papers for Friday’s Makueni Senate by-election arrived in the country early on Thursday morning.

An official at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission told Capital FM News that the ballots were later transported to the Bomas of Kenya, where the superimposition of Mutula Kilonzo Junior’s details would take place.

The laborious exercise is expected to be finalised later on Thursday before the ballot papers are airlifted for distribution to polling stations in Makueni, in time for voting which kicks off at dawn on Friday.
