Wait for next budget, Githae tells teachers

“The postponement of the examinations can have a huge challenge when it comes to the management of education passé because the implications of having delay for example in KCPE means that the form one selection process will be delayed,” he stated.

“When this happens, it is a huge challenge because this affects the terms and to cover that will be a huge challenge given that already we have a shortage of teachers.”

He stated that postponing of the exams would further be unfair to the candidates who have been working hard for long.

“We are not contemplating postponing of the examinations. The children who are waiting for these examinations have been toiling for the last eight years. They are anxious to take the examination and go on with their lives,” he pointed out.
