NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept 19 – A 15-year-old girl has been reported missing from her home in Eastleigh section III for the last three weeks in what her parents fear to be a case of abduction.
Amina Mohamud is a form one student at Moi Girls High School Nangili and was reported missing from her parents’ home on August 31.
“It was around 2pm when she asked her mother for Sh200 to go and buy something from a nearby market and from that time she has not been seen again,” said the distraught father Mohamud Abdillahi.
He said they reported the case to Buru Buru police station where it is still under investigation.
“I am requesting anybody with information regarding her disappearance or maybe if you have seen her somewhere, kindly please report to me or any police station nearby,” he pleaded.
He said that at the time she disappeared she was clad in cream clothes and a black hijab.
