The Apprentice contender in Kenya

, NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 20 – The Kenyan on the US reality TV show The Apprentice, Liza Mucheru, arrived in the country on Saturday.

The American based education technologist will be in Kenya for a series of charitable events.

During her tour she will be engaged in activities aimed at improving the plight of disadvantaged children through technology.

According to a press statement issued ahead of her arrival, she will visit schools, children\’s homes and hospitals.

Next week she is expected to organise a golf clinic for disadvantaged children at Muthaiga Golf Club.

Ms Mucheru is an Associate Director with The ELITE graduate program at Texas A&M University and an entrepreneur and founder of Texas Techies.

On Sunday she is expected to hold a media briefing where she will talk about her candidature on The Apprentice, season 10.

Ms Mucheru has so far positioned herself to the top four in the show.

According to the statement, "Ms Liza continues to perform exceptionally in the race to become the top winner in the Thump Organisation, a business empire led by billionaire Donald Trump."

The Apprentice is one of the most vibrant and competitive reality shows in America which originated in 2004.  The show has become known for Trump\’s fateful catch phrase "You\’re Fired!"
