Kenya thespians slam it again

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 16 – Actors slam it again with monologues lined up on Thursday night – June 18 – this time at Alliance Francaise.

More than 10 thespians will contest, including seven who went through a rigorous audition earlier this month.

Organiser Eddy Kimani says Gilbert Lukalia, who won the first ever edition of KENYA ACTORS MONOLOGUE SLAM NIGHT, will be contesting to keep his title.

“Millicent Muthure, who was in the runners up position and Anthony Wachira who took third place in the first event will also be competing,” he tells me.

The top actor, will be judged by three professionals from the entertainment, performing arts and production industry in Kenya and he/she will walk away with the best actor’s trophy and Sh5,000.

The winner then proceeds on to defend his/her title in the next month – may the best man win!
