Kenya s KJ could be The Best

NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 18 – I love it when Kenyans are in the international limelight so I would like to tell you about Kiran Jethwa, aged 32, the only African to have made the last 50 contestants for the "Best Job in the World"!

Surprise, surprise it is not in the Kenyan Parliament (sigh), it is rather a competition to select a manager for a dream island of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.

Anyway, he is among more than 34,000 people from around the world who had applied for the job, which offers $ AU 150,000 over a 6 month period to an ‘outstanding’ individual, who will act as a caretaker for the reef islands.

The eventual candidate who is selected through a process of online voting will take on the gruelling tasks of staying on the Island Paradise, writing a blog about the nature and environment and delivering the mail.

Mr Jethwa describes himself as a colourful and ambitious Kenyan who has achieved much already. He is a professional chef, a safari guide and has played as an inside centre for the Kenya national rugby team. He has also achieved the incredible fete of having both a sexy body and a very cute face!

Mr Cutesy is standing proudly Kenyan among applicants from several other countries including India, Russia, Sweden, China and Singapore, who have made the final list.

“I am looking forward to the next round of the competition,” said the ambitious Kenyan, “I love my country and am honoured to represent all Africans in this competition.” (Don’t forget Kenya, bro! Kenya!)

If you would like to support his efforts to get through, check out his film at http://www.islandreefjob.com/#/kiran and cast votes for Africa’s only contender.
