Latoya dumped for real

NAIROBI, September 23 – In a live Sunday eviction show Tanzania’s Latoya Lyakurwa became the first contestant evicted from M-Net’s reality hit Big Brother Africa 3.

The announcement, which ended the 21-year-old secretary’s four-week stay in the house, saw audiences save Botswana’s Tawana who had been isolated, along with Latoya, in a specially constructed Rubbish Dump for a week.

Meanwhile, Latoya was candid in her exit interview with KB, detailing her shock at finding herself in the ‘Rubbish Dump’ a week earlier and reacting coyly when asked about her relationship with Angola’s Ricco.

Clearly in shock to discover that Zimbabwe’s Munya was one of the housemates who had nominated her for eviction, Latoya was completely unsurprised to see that Lucille had also put her up for eviction. “She likes Ricco, that’s why!” she told the crowd.

Latoya garnered most countries’ votes, with 12, while Tawana only received a country vote from – unsurprisingly – Tanzania.

On Monday, housemates nominated Nigeria’s Uti, Ricco, and Zambia’s TK for eviction this coming Sunday. However, being Head of House, TK saved himself and nominated Lucille in his place.

Who do you think will be the next contestant to be shoved out of BBA’s wild and wacky house?
