The Festival for African Fashion and Arts (FAFA) held a fashionista event dubbed FAFA Insight<\/strong><\/span>, on Saturday June 30 at Sierra, Yaya Centre. \u00a0The aim of the event was to give emerging\u00a0Kenyan fashion designers an opportunity to showcase their talent.<\/p>\n

FAFA Insight<\/strong> is a fashion competition that was publicized mostly through social media and word of mouth.\u00a0 Among hundreds of hopeful applicants,18 designers<\/strong> were selected by FAFA judges to create a new collection themed \u201cRebranding Africa\u201d<\/span>, which was showcased on the catwalk.<\/p>\n

In third place was Gala Tatarinova<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>In 2nd Place was Azra Walji<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

And Jamil Walji<\/span><\/strong> came in FIRST place<\/p>\n
