Grammy-winner, prolific singer and country star Kenny Rogers died Friday 20th March at the age of 81. He was one of the first country stars to sell out arenas in the 70’s and 80’s and sold more than 100 million records in his career that spanned decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His songs have endeared music lovers and touched the lives of millions around the world. In an interview in 2012, Mr Rogers said “All the songs I record fall into one of two categories, as a rule,\u201d one is ballads that say what every man would like to say and every woman would like to hear. The other is story songs that have social significance.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
