“Be present.” So says this week’s Capital Lifestyle Instagrammer\u00a0Neema Jodie, also known as\u00a0@thebongolese<\/a> on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Hailing\u00a0from Tanzania, hence the name @thebongolese, Neema Jodie enjoys photography and traveling because of the whole idea of perspective.<\/p>\n

A self-proclaimed roamer and dragon slayer, Neema Jodie enjoys seeing and experiencing more than just the ordinary in the places she visits.<\/p>\n

Capital Lifestyle reached out to Neema Jodie to find out how photography and Instagram have impacted her journey in Mobile Photography.<\/p>\n

What cameras do you enjoy shooting with and what do you like most about them?<\/h3>\n

I use Canon T5i with a 50mm, I love shooting with it when it is paired with the 50mm because it is great with details and portraits cause of the clarity. I use my iPhone SE too especially when I am trying to go incognito plus helps shooting candid moments.<\/p>\n

Where do you shoot most of your photos and what sort of photos do you like to take best?<\/h3>\n

I shoot when I am traveling or when I am on the move so basically anywhere. I love portraiture and travel photography.<\/p>\n

What are your top tips for taking captivating Instagram photos?<\/h3>\n

Be present plus with practice you will achieve what you are trying to capture\u00a0 just like angles matter in selfies, perspective matters in photos.<\/p>\n

How has Instagram influenced your profession and your business?<\/h3>\n

Instagram is an inspiration tool since you get to experience so many perspectives and so many stories one can get easily inspired. As a business, Instagram has exposed me to brands and also clients from all over.<\/p>\n
