Just when you thought Vogue couldn’t break the conventional fashion rules any further, they go ahead and remind why exactly they were breaking the internet long before Kim Kardashian’s rear got its cover spread.<\/p>\n

Andreja Pejic, an Australian transgendered model, features in a four page spread in the May issue of American Vogue – also known as the fashion bible<\/em> to the industry’s fanatics.<\/p>\n

Pejic’s modelling career started from a strong androgynous stand point, featuring in both male and female runways\u00a0 up until 2014 where she underwent gender-reassignment surgery to become a woman.<\/p>\n

The model took to her Instagram account yesterday (21.04.15) to share her excitement over the Vogue spread saying, “I was told by various people many times over that the chances of me ending up on these pages were slim to none. So you can only imagine what I’m feeling right now!”<\/p>\n
