How \u201cpowerful\u201d or desirable is your passport? This is the question that the folks at Arton Capital have set out to answer.<\/p>\n

Financial advisory firm Arton Capital created a Passport Index<\/a>, which ranks travel documents based on how many countries passport holders can visit without having to obtain a visa in advance or by purchasing a visa on arrival.<\/p>\n

Most countries require non-nationals to obtain a visa before entering their borders, but for countries that are allies, the requirements can differ a lot.<\/p>\n

The Passport Index website is an interactive tool that allows you to find your passport by country, location, colour and its power rank. Passports are ranked based on their Visa Free Score. The higher the Visa Free Score, the better the Passport Power Rank and the more \u201cpowerful\u201d your passport is.<\/p>\n

The more nations you can access merely by showing up and getting a landing visa at the airport (or even entering visa-free), the more powerful your passport is.<\/p>\n

The U.S. and U.K. passports lead the way in the Passport Power Rank index, whilst Kenya makes the list at a ranking of 50 with only 68 visa-free countries.<\/p>\n
