In the August issue of Travel + Leisure<\/em> magazine, the readers’ choices for this year’s top 500 cities, hotels, islands, and more travel-related categories will be on US newsstands July 24. The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards will be presented in New York City at the Cooper Square Hotel on July 21.<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on various criteria, readers also chose favorite spas, airlines, car rental agencies, cruise lines, and tour operators. Of the Top 100 Hotels in the world, the top ten were ranked on best rooms\/facilities, location, service, and restaurants\/food.<\/span><\/p>\n

Half of the top ten are in Africa, indicating some of the favorite new places to visit are eco-tours, wildlife safaris and luxury campsites.<\/p>\n
