Sunday Funday: Parkinn by Radisson Launches Sunday Brunch at Attic Rooftop Bar

As a food enthusiast, I had the pleasure of attending the launch of the Sunday brunch at the Attic rooftop bar at Parkinn by Radisson, Westlands. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The stunning panoramic views of Westlands and the expressway provided the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of relaxation and indulgence.

The scrumptious buffet of brunch favorites, including made-to-order omelettes, a wide selection of seasonal fruits, fresh pastries, grilled meat, and so much more, left me spoilt for choice. I particularly enjoyed the grilled meats, which were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The live band music provided the perfect soundtrack for a leisurely afternoon with friends.

As the head chef, Emmanuel Aluda, expressed in the press release, “We are excited to launch the Sunday brunch at our rooftop bar that will provide guests with a memorable food experience with beautiful panoramic views of Westlands. We have carefully selected each menu item and tailored it to be the best brunch for our guests and their palate.”

The offers on cocktails, mocktails, and shots were amazing, and I enjoyed sipping on my favorite drink while taking in the beautiful views. The service was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had an unforgettable experience.

“We have carefully selected each menu item and tailored it to be the best brunch for our guests and their palate,” Chef Emmanuel Aluda added. “We invite everyone to join us for an unforgettable culinary experience with breathtaking views and live music.”

No brunch is complete without indulging in some sweet treats, and the dessert station did not disappoint.

It was a sight to behold, with an array of mouth-watering desserts that catered to all tastes. From creamy cheesecakes to fluffy pastries, chocolate delights, and fresh fruit, the options were endless.

What made it even more special was the live station where guests could watch the pastry chefs create delicious crepes and waffles with a variety of fillings. The waffles were made to order, ensuring that they were served fresh and warm, and the fillings were varied, including chocolate, strawberries, bananas, and caramel sauce.

The salad station offered a wide range of options, including mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, beets, chickpeas and salami. The toppings were equally impressive, with options like feta cheese, croutons, and different dressings to choose from.

What stood out to me was the quality of the ingredients used. The greens were crisp and fresh, and the vegetables were carefully selected and cut into bite-size pieces. The dressings were well-balanced and complemented the flavours of the ingredients.

The salad station is a great option for those looking to indulge in healthy and delicious options. It’s also perfect for vegetarians or anyone looking for a lighter alternative to the grilled meats and pastries available.

The Sunday brunch will be served from 11am to 4pm every last Sunday of the month at the Attic rooftop bar, Parkinn by Radisson, Westlands. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by contacting events@parkinn.com or by calling +254709489000.

Overall, the launch of the brunch was a huge success. The head chef, Emmanuel Aluda, and his team did an excellent job curating the menu to cater to different tastes and palates. I am already looking forward to attending the next brunch, which will take place every last Sunday of the month.
