Hidden Gem

Sierra Bar & Grill

The real magic of Sierra lies in its melt-in-your-mouth, juicy steaks ranging from their rib eye to fillet to sirloin steak topped with flawless hospitality that will make your fine dining experience truly unforgettable. The Sands at Nomad

The Sands at Nomad on Diani beach has a sophisticated wine cellar and fine dining venue with a great selection of old and new wined from around the world. The temperature controlled room allows the wine cellar to store an extensive collection of wines in their optimum condition.

The resident sommelier guides diners with the wine pairings as they indulge in the fine dining experience. They also host regular tasting events, where the Nomad team comes together to create special menus that have been perfectly matched and balanced against some of the special varieties.

The Wine Box

Located in Karen, The Wine Box boasts a well stocked cellar with wines from all over the world and a warm team ready to share their passion for wine with you. Whether you’re a casual wine drinker or a serious connoisseur, an evening here will give you an opportunity to explore and discover stunning new tastes.

A huge wine list is not enough, Wine Box offer tasting and sampling sessions for those who want to learn more and build an appreciation for wine. Each session is set up for 6-10 people accompanied by in-depth commentary of the legacy of the wineries, taste profiles and suggested food pairings.

Reservations are open Thursday through to Saturday from 6 PM to 9 PM with tasting from Ksh 3,000.

The glass enclosed wine cellar at Hemingways is the one and only perfect venue for that special occasion and the ultimate private dining experience with unique tasting menus prepared by the Chef. It seats up to 8 and stocks a wide selection of high quality wines from the best wine producing regions of the world, both Old and New World wines. It is open to the public and available for hire for intimate lunches and dinners.
