1. Koffee
19 year old Jamaican star, Koffee made history at the 62nd annual Grammy awards by being the youngest reggae act and first woman to win the award: Best Reggae Album for her “Rapture” EP.

2. Billy Porter
Billy porter was not nominated for a Grammy but he made quite the entrance at the red carpet. His bright blue crystal jumpsuit was adorned with a silver fringe on the hem and attention grabbing accessories.

3.Billie Elish
American singer-songwriter, Billie Elish bagged the top five awards; Best new artist, Record of the year, Song of the year, Pop Vocal Album and Album of the year. The 18 year old star is the youngest winner of the Album of the year award.

4. Lil Nas X
If Old Town Road isn’t stuck in your head already, Lil Nas X’s performance at the 62nd Grammy Awards will have you singing this song for a long time. He performed every remix of ‘Old Town Road’ and also won the Best Music Video and Best Pop Duo/Group performance.

5. Angelique Kidjo
Beninese singer-songwriter and activist, Angelique Kidjo received the Best World Music Album award and celebrated a new generation of African artists who are coming up to represent the continent. She also dedicated her award to Nigerian Afro-fusion start Burna Boy who was nominated in the same category.

6. Lizzo
Lizzo who won the Best Pop solo Performance opened up the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards accompanied by a full orchestra and sent out a spoken tribute to Kobe Bryant (“Tonight is for Kobe!”)
