This just goes to show you the level of intelligence in the OTP, that they can actually go and listen to the mungiki and not only that, ask the mungiki to go and get more “witnesses”???

The charges were confirmed on the basis of witnesses who have since been discredited. The right thing to do would be dismissal. Instead, the OTP is given a chance to get fresh witnesses without having to go back to pre-trial. Talk about bending over backwards to accommodate a weak prosecution.

This gives Kenyatta’s defense more time to try to defuse the case. But, I think it will not succeed. Instead the grab on him just gets tighter. Eventually, when the case starts, they would have used all their arsenals–by letting the prosecution know all their defenses. Somebody is not thinking right. They will have taught the prosecution how to deal with them, no legal surprises. Watch out. Charles Taylor may very soon have a notable friend.
