Some of these judges are just trying to show they are bosses. They hardly understand African culture, and their arguments sound irrational, dictatorial and mean. What harm would it cause to allow Sang be with his daughter for one day as the the trial progresses? They want to have him in court all day even though he’ll barely open his mouth to speak. Judge Eboe-Osuji is right on this one.

If the daughter can understand she is graduating from kindergarten, surely she can understand that dad is in court and will not be attending.

The verdict doesn’t come as a surprise. I’m sure they are even wondering whether there are any schools in Kenya!!!
