Why does the government threaten that they will withdraw licences then fail to take action leaving the buses to continue operating???

As long as we do not hold the owners of vehicles accountable by withdrawing their PSV licenses and blacklisting their vehicles vin numbers so they cannot be used under a new company, Kenyans will continue to loose their lives

The drivers of these vehicles are under pressure from their employers to deliver or be fired. they have no choice. The buck must stop with the owners

and as long as we allow…make that partake in the culture of “kitu kidogo” and that of “its our turn to eat”…Kenya will always bear witness to such horrific incidents: mostly caused by an arrogant and hubristic culture of impunity…

the buck stops with you and with me:

      1) do not offer bribes
      2) do no accept bribes
      3) do not enter a matatu that is over-loaded
      4) do not patronize matatu companies with a record of accidents
      5) obey traffic laws
      6) do not equivocate corruption…and impunity…even if it means “finishing your 7) sons and daughters”
      7) hold people accountable…at the ballot box if necessary
      8) support best practices for respective industries…even if is aid best practices are from those dreaded foreigners.

Due to the drivers arrogance , impatience & sense of self importance, he overtook the vehicle infront of him that was waiting for the train to cross, thus causing the fatal crash( i will NOT refer to this as an accident). The driver should therefore be considered as a murderer & treated as such!
