CMC unveils CX9, CX5 and BT50 in Nairobi

On Thursday, 8th August 2019, CMC Motors Group launched the all-new CX9, CX5 and BT50 simultaneously at the trendy Radisson Blu Hotel – Upper hill. Invited Guests to the event were treated to an evening full of live music, amazing food and drinks and mostly importantly, these pretty nice cars.

The all-new CX-9 is a high-end model of Mazda’s new-generation lineup that comes with an imposing grille with five double blades and the sculpted lower bumper which give the CX-9 an elegant but sporty look. Mazda CX-9 cuts an elegant figure on the road thanks to the superb styling of ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’ design.

Second to be unveiled was the fully redesigned model CX5 which refines every element of Mazda’s design and technology to offer new dimensions of driving pleasure. From its exceptional driving dynamics to its ideal unity of versatility, spaciousness and advanced technologies, the CX-5 connects you to the road to make every drive exhilarating

Finally, to be unveiled on the same night, was the BT50 branded as a lifestyle pickup, meant for individuals who lead an active, confident and independent lifestyle, who love customizing their vehicles, and needs a vehicle that exudes civilized ruggedness. This is meant to revolutionize the pickup segment for CMC Motors as it brings luxury and fuel efficiency to the D/cab segment.

CMC Motors Group Brand Manager Robert Gichuki says the Mazda brand has evolved over time since its inception in 1931 and has been selling up to 1.5 million units annually across continents. Speaking during the launch, Mr Gichuki said the three Mazda models were designed to ensure the consumer gets their monies worth.
