lets use our head. if they have been earning allowances since 2011, why then can shollei come in 2013 and state the obvious? she is a witch. she deserves the sacking,

JSC and the CJ continue to display their ignorance in public. I wonder why they cannot get the opinions of relevant experts. Salaries and allowances are quoted gross. For public servants, that is the total cost to the tax payer. In this case, the allowances are Kshs 80k per sitting but after deducting tax, the net pay is Kshs 56k while Kshs 24k is remitted to KRA as tax deducted at source. Thus the cost to the JSC is Kshs 80k.
The JSC is either incompetent or they are just trying to hoodwink the public by this statement. The correct position is that they earn Kshs 80k but their net pay is Kshs 56k. Who is the liar now?

Ohhhh! So you do – ‘only’? Wow? So how many truncated half meetings are postponed to a following day for the maximum ‘only’ to become a ‘not-only’? And the venue of the sitting, do you fly in too with costs?

Some1 earning 56000 only per sitting while a teacher earns 14000 per month after teaching and having soo many meetings to strategies on students performance… what kind of live is this ?
