Salute Abdul, that’s the spirit of brotherhood that all religions preach. It is the spirit of nationhood that we should all embrace. Not everyone can be as daring as Abdul but we can all try.

As one of millions of faraway foreigners who was riveted by this event, I want to say how impressed I was by Abdul Haji, the other civilians, the police and the army in their determination and willingness to sacrifice to save people, many of whom would surely have died if not for heroes like these. May they be blessed for all their lives with the knowledge that they matter far more in this world than those who would kill in the name of G-d.

So, what happened to his brother, did he manage to save him? I hope he did.

My question too. I noticed he got so caught up with events he forgot about his brother…hope he survived too. His Dad was a good civil servant all the way from the time he was a DO, DC (Nyandarua), PC, etc…..Thanks Haji.
