You see, each year, in the month of May, TV executives either cancel or renew shows for another season based on various reasons.

Grey’s Anatomy

ABC has renewed “Grey’s Anatomy” for two more seasons, which means the series created by Shonda Rhimes will run at least through its 17th season.

This is Us

NBC announced that This Is Us would be renewed for a fourth season for 2019-2020. Oh, but that’s not all. The network also renewed the show for a fifth season in 2020-2021, and a sixth season for the 2021-2022 season.

Empire

EMPIRE season 6 has been confirmed by FOX but without embattled star Jussie Smollett The decision to keep Jamal off the canvas in Season 6 comes despite the cast making a passionate plea for the actor’s return.
