Gallery: Capital Jazz Club Presents Meet and Jazz 2nd Edition

If there’s one thing we all look out for in a relaxing weekend is great music, good food and a chilled hang with friends and family. Sunday 3rd March 2019, the second edition of Meet and Jazz at Mamba village had just that!

Meet and Jazz’s premise is quite simple at heart. It is a glorious opportunity for the Capital Jazz Club to grow its listenership.

The free event powered by Heineken and Coca Cola was attended by fans of all styles within jazz with live performances by Kaima Mwiti, Jacob Asiyo and friends with Capital FM Mix Master Jo Kisila on the Decks!

Jacob Asiyo captivated the audience with Jazz renditions of popular songs like Cardi B’s “I like that” while Kaima and friends presented traditional and bepob Jazz; the result was an occasion that was fulfilling from an aural & ambrosial point of view.

“We look forward to having an even better Meet & Jazz event in the next couple of months.” said Kiama Mwiti.”

Kaima Mwiti and Friends
“The ‘Live’ performances by Jacob Asiyo, Kaima Mwiti and friends, will further cement the experiential philosophy of Capital Radio’s growing live entertainment events and core brand.” according to Jacob Asiyo.

“There was a great family turn out and safe space for kids to run around where parents could keep a watchful eye on them.” said Michael Waithaka, Programmes Controller at Capital FM.

You can now look forward to this  laid-back shindig every first or second Sunday of the month.
