“It’s not true, I didn’t do this stuff” an emotional R Kelly comes out fighting.

CBS News’ Gayle King (left) sits down with Singer R Kelly (right) for an exclusive interview.

R Kelly is breaking his silence slamming the abuse allegations leveled against him as untrue. In an explosive new interview with Gayle King, Co-host of CBS This Morning Show, a tearful and very emotional R. Kelly angrily denies the accusations.

“I didn’t do this stuff! This is not me! I’m fighting for my f-ing life!”

“Something like this can happen to any artist. Anybody famous. Anybody famous can get accused of so many different things.”

The ‘Bump N’ Grind’ singer who is out on bail, was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse by Cook County’s State Attorney last month, following allegations made by a host of women – some of whom were allegedly underage – in the recently aired Lifetime documentary series ‘Surviving R. Kelly’.

Kelly, credited with churning out chart-topping hits for himself and others nonstop since he first exploded on the scene 30 years ago, said it would be “stupid” of him to hold women against their will.

Ironically, since the airing of “Surviving R. Kelly” on the Lifetime network in January, R. Kelly’s music sales have increased on the Spotify platform.

R. Kelly’s full interview will air on CBS This Morning on Wednesday (06.03.19), at 7am EST.
