It’s official! The JoBros have reunited! Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas are back on the boy band radar after months of speculation about their come back. In a series of teasers on Instagram including a preview of the next episode of Carpool Karaoke for The Late Late Show with James Corden, the trio announced that their six year hiatus was a wrap.
Buzz began last year that the trio had something up their sleeves when their official Jonas Brothers social media pages were suddenly reactivated. The JoBros went their separate ways back in 2010 – 2011 to pursue solo projects, reunited then broke up again in 2013 to pursue solo projects.
Having achieved massive worldwide success from their appearances on The Disney channel back in 2005, the Disney channel sweethearts are all grown up now and their comeback single Sucker introduces to you grown and sexy brothers with their significant others.
Making a cameo on the Sucker video is Indian actress, singer, film producer, philanthropist, and the winner of the Miss World 2000 pageant Priyanka Chopra who married Nick Jonas in December 2018 in a series of star studded wedding ceremonies and was apparently unimpressed by Meghan Markle’s absence but that is a story for another day.
English actress Sophie Turner, you may know her as Sansa Stark from HBO’s Game of thrones, also makes a cameo. She is engaged to Joe Jonas, the pair are set to be married in Paris in 2019.
After taking a hiatus from our screens American reality television personality and former hairdresser Danielle Jonas who is Kevin Jonas’ wife features in the video as well.
Couple goals is an understatement when it comes to the Sucker video, with the Jobros confessing their love for their leading ladies throughout the lyrics of this up beat, sexy, pop track. The ladies are draped in flamboyant couture gowns and the gents clad in suits, dancing, sharing stolen moments and walking dogs through a well-manicured hedge maze and castle giving off an Alice in Wonderland feel.
All the leading ladies and their spouses had their moment of glory in the video culminating in a portrait pose scene that features the JSister’s and their husbands together.
