Wow…what a climb down by KNUT….from demanding revocation of laptop project and reallocation of 47b to pay teachers salaries in one go, to only getting commuter allowances of 4b plus hefty fines of 6m and pleading for full payment of July salaries. They have been made to toe the line and sing the laptop song. Next time, I hope that they will think long and hard before going on strike, that they will respect their rival union and that they will tone down on the chest thumping.
Lesson learnt: It is very important to have a competent and engaged Attorney General.
A “climb-down”…seriously? What does that even mean?
This was a “quid pro quo” by a government and an organization bent on lining the pockets of the few connected and powerful by implementing programs that are short-sighted and poorly planned.
Lesson learnt: Choices have consequences…
