Burger King offers lifetime supply to women who get pregnant by a World Cup player

Burger King is giving a lifetime supply of Whoppers to women who get pregnant by a player at the World Cup.

The fast-food chain in Russia took to VK – the country’s equivalent to Facebook – to announce their World Cup-inspired campaign where they also promised to handout £35,000 (3 million rubles) to all willing participants.

The post – which has since been deleted – read: “Burger King, within the framework of social responsibility, has appointed a reward for girls who get pregnant from the stars of world football.

“Each will receive 3 million rubles, and a lifelong supply of Whoppers.

“For these girls, it will be possible to get the best football genes, and will lay down the success of the Russian national team on several generations ahead. Forward! We believe in you! (sic)”

The company later issued a statement expressing their regret at their lewd ad, saying: “It turned out to be too insulting. We thank you for the feedback.”
