No parallels to draw from the Lubanga case and Kenyans facing charges at the ICC. Lubanga was solely accused of conscripting child soldiers … and these children did come to court … there was video evidence of tarining camps … it was proven that he was the head of  Union of Congolese Patriots (UPC) … Drawing parallels with the Kenyan situation is taking imagination a bit too far…

Yeah, maybe. But I think guys now know this thing can become elephant. Well, as they say if you can’t do the time, don’t commit the crime. Period.

“………………The judges agreed with the defense on allegations that the prosecution had delegated its investigations to local intermediaries in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and that these intermediaries manipulated and influenced some witnesses to lie against Lubanga. The evidence of these prosecution witnesses were in doubt and were therefore disregarded by the judges. On the strength of other prosecution evidence, including a video footage of Lubanga addressing children at a UPC training camp, the judges found that Lubanga is guilty of the charges against him…………………..

i Agree with you Shida Tupu Sir..(Madam?)

Two guys who fought each other for ‘under the table’ reasons(land & power) are transversing the land enlisting gullible kenyans from their tribes that they are now friends, and could just raise an army of child soldiers..
