Turmeric tea to detox your liver

Used for centuries in Ayurveda, turmeric is a powerful spice. Detox your liver and reap a host of benefits with this recipe for turmeric tea.


Turmeric is a powerful liver cleansing spice. Incorporating this spice into your diet will boost your health in several ways including:

What you’ll need to make your turmeric tea

two teaspoons fresh turmeric (peeled and grated)

one teaspoon fresh ginger (peeled and grated)

one teaspoon ground cinnamon

one teaspoon raw honey

six tablespoons coconut milk

Half a cup of boiling water

Start off by pouring the boiling water into a mug, add the turmeric and ginger to the mug and steep for 15 minutes.

Stir in the cinnamon, honey and coconut milk and enjoy.
