Star Wars-themed Dark Side Bar opens in Los Angeles

Fans of ‘Star Wars’ can go “alien speed dating” at Hollywood’s new The Dark Side Bar pop-up.

The drinking den, which is inspired by the blockbuster sci-fi franchise, is located in a galaxy far far away, or on Hollywood BLVD, and is open from now until January 14, and promises nightly themed events and specialty drinks.

The immersive galactic experience, which comes as the new movie ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ hits cinemas across the world, includes the intergalactic burlesque show, trivia nights, alien speed dating and themed DJ events.

Guests are encouraged to come in costume to blend in, but are equally not required to do so. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are highly encouraged.

With a galaxy-inspired menu of small bites and sharing plates, fans can expect to see tentacles on sticks (soy BBQ glazed octopus skewers), Bantha Fodder (vegan sushi egg rolls) and other enticing treats, varied daily.

Those wanting to join ‘The Dark Side’ can reserve a ticket for $33, which includes two signature, custom cocktails per person.

Walk-ins will have to pay $40 per person for the same deal.

Tickets are available now from www.thedarksidebar.com
