#BeautyBar: Top 5 rejuvenating face masks you should try

Face masks are a great way to restore your skin and allow yourself an at-home pamper session at the same time! Whereas others swear by using masks daily (take the famous Korean 10-step skincare routine that includes sheet masks) I like to treat my skin to a mask once or twice a week.

Here are 5 that I’ve tried, tested and loved.

The My Little Secret face mask was such an exciting find given that it’s made out of all natural ingredients including qasil and turmeric to promote radiance. All you need is a teaspoon of powder mixed in with a teaspoon of milk and you’re good to go.

Another great alternative would be the O’Bao Superfood Radiance Mask which is also Kenyan made with all natural ingredients.

After stumbling onto the Beauty Success face mask sachets at Madora, I fell in love with their moisturising mask which does a great job of injecting life back into your skin.

Moisture is not something that your skin can get enough of and this mask is a great option for under KES2,500.

If you’re looking for an inventive mask to try, I highly recommend Botanifique Magnifique Facial Mask. It’s uniquely infused with natural iron particles that require an actual magnet to get it off your skin. It’s bound to fascinate you and leave your skin feeling silky thanks to the serum residue.

The skin around your eyes is incredibly sensitive and occasionally needs you to show it a little extra love. Not only are the Sephora eye masks super affordable, they also come in different formulas. My favourite being green tea which is refreshing.

A good clay mask is a must have in your skincare essentials as it really helps draw out impurities. If you happen to have acne-prone or oily skin, you’re going to love the effects of this type of mask as it soaks up all the dirt out of your pores.

Happy Masking!
