Nigerian superstar D’Banj set to land in Nairobi ahead of Koroga Festival

The Kokomaster hit maker, D’Banj, is currently on the way to Nairobi, Kenya to headline the 18th edition of Koroga Festival.

The Nigerian singer-songwriter, harmonica player, and businessman, born Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, has won several music awards, including Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, Artist of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2009, Best International Act: Africa at the 2011 BET Awards, Best-selling African Artist at the 2014 World Music Awards, and Evolution Award at the 2015 MTV Africa Music awards.

D’Banj will be headlining the epic two-day festival, held at Carnivore Grounds, on Sunday, 30th of July, 2017.

Nairobi Horns Project and Kenyan crooner Eric Wainaina will be setting the stage for the Nigeria superstar.

On Day 1, Saturday, July 29th, 2017, of the 18th edition of Koroga Festival, the festival will be hosting a bevy of DJs – kicking off a high-energy weekend.

The Koroga Festival brought to you by Capital FM celebrates the greatest African acts from around the continent, food and culture. Advance tickets are on sale on ticketsasa.com for KSh 2000. Tickets at the gate will be Ksh 2500. Entry is free for kids under 12 years of age. Food and drinks from outside are not allowed.
