Uhuru promises “LAND REFORMS” !!! Is this man listening to himself? Does he need to be a president or at Hague for him to reform land injustices around his family that has been there since independence? Can somebody tell me what this son of Jomo is talking about?

    1. Avatar bobcat February 3rd, 2013 at 8:14 pm

Dude never listens to himself just like many politicians.

      1. Avatar Gichira Peter February 4th, 2013 at 7:39 am

King and Bobcat, What makes you think he has committed crimes on land? The story about his Father having thousands of hactares of lans that have been paddled over the years and now amplified by RAO? Lets assume that it is true that the Late Jomo Kenyatta grabbed, does that Make Uhuru guilty? No there is a better way of looking at it. Do you know how your father or mothers got the fees that took you to school? Asumming they stole or they prostituted about to get it, does that make you a thief or a prostitute? I am just asking!!!
Lets think beyond cheap politicking into FACTS. Lets think about what will make Kenya prosperous and not romours that may fan violence. Have you ever asked yourself what you would do was Kenya to turn upside down? Me, I have never thought about it, But I know for sure that RAO, Uhuru and all those big guys would be on their choppers to another safe place. Or wasn’t a senior ODM cabinet minister – who has now been given a direct nomination fora senatorial position in one of the counties in Nyanza as was the case – seen at JKIA sending his family off to the US in Dec 2007 when the country caught some cough? Where were the ordinary Kibera and Kisumu children at that time? In the streets protesting. Where are they now? Dead or still living in the same dire conditions.Same to Naivasha, Eldoret and elsewhere.
The FACT is that they do not care about you or anyother person but themselves. Thus you should be cleverer not to listen to them with your heart but with your MIND!

You defending nonsense, this is ridiculous to defend politician while they grabbed a huge tracts of land

        2. Avatar Kwessi Pratt February 7th, 2013 at 10:02 am

You can choose to return stolen tracable property if you really decently care! You CANT play clean when the facts and stolen items are lying with you! Alternately, if you keep feigning blindness, state might as well seek redress. As for school fees, thats totally different because no physical evidence available. But no one is talking about pity thievery here!!!!

    2. Avatar SalumG February 4th, 2013 at 11:40 am

He does not know what he is talking about, his family grabbed a huge tracts of land he can not reform, we need someone else to deal with historical injustices including land issues

The Land Reform: Jubilees approach sounds promising and feasible. Let those with ears listen Kenya is gonna change for the better with a Jubilee government and Uhuru at the helm.

      correct mjomba

Give jubilee a chance, his manifesto outdo the propaganda cheap manifesto. His approach to the land issue displays his great level of political maturity and is seems very realist. I was a cord but now i will vote Jubilee tosha.

I heard someone ask yesterday, If we remove the name Kenyatta from Uhuru Kenyatta, what would we be left with? My answer is UHURU!, The uhuru Hon Jaramogi Odinga wrote about in his book “NOT YET UHURU” now that UHURU that Hon Jaramogi Odinga (RIP) foresaw is here! This is the time for the real UHURU that we all have dreamt of.

And as to where “THEY” was when Right Hon PM. Raila was being gagged by Nyayoism, the answer is He (Uhuru) was being modeled. I see UHURU`s story as that of Moses in the Holy Bible, Moses was in the Pharaohs house and grew as a prince, but he was never like them. He killed an Egyptian for assaulting an Israeli. Same way Uhuru was mentored by Nyayo and The PM, but when Kibaki gave him the Finance portfolio he reduced the comfort of hyenas and big cats, that’s why they didn’t prefer him, they wanted MM instead.

    1. Avatar ikolomani February 4th, 2013 at 4:02 pm

My friend, Uhuru was finance minister up until late last year. Big cats were still riding comfortably. The change that you claim he brought was only in the newspapers and other media; what we call superficial change.

      1. Avatar Kwessi Pratt February 5th, 2013 at 3:53 pm

Uhuru Kenyatta is another normal lying politician who hasnt realized that Kenyans are now alot wiser than ever before. Thats why he is promising land reforms that he cant dare effect! He is also talking alot about increased security if gets elected. But this one too is just another cheap campaign ploy. Furthermore, the current security minister is a card -carrying member of TNA/Jubilee!!!!

    2. Avatar Kwessi Pratt February 6th, 2013 at 3:09 pm

You are unwittingly confirming ICC charges pal! Invoking death when Uhuru is charged with crimes against humanity is pretty unwise. ICC knows much as we do how he came to prominance in central Kenya! And Uhuru was only known at finance ministry for deliberate ommissions, if not outright thefts!!!!

Uhuru was very sound when he talked about land. He displayed maturity and his solution seemed very workable. I was CORD now am Jubilee. Btw, RAO has been giving excuses that he couldnt achieve much in coalition govt because the other partner had different agenda. Yet just yesterday he claimed that Kibakis legacy is actually his own – and they share!! And back to land, am not aware of any solution that RAO through his Lands Minister put forward and was rejected by the other coalition partner.
I have to now measure this election objectively. I believe now that Jubilee offers the best chance for Kenya

    1. Avatar John Juma February 4th, 2013 at 10:52 pm

Some people are too short sighted and blinded by impunity that they can not or will never see’ if you are a radio listener, then listen to what Waweru Mburu have been saying, let us not come to regret later!!!! RAO was frustrated all along that is why he did not perform well, remember what happened when he sacked WR and SO? It was overturned, why IMPUNITY!!!!

These people are running (i) because of ICC, (Ii) Status quo – Impunity!!

    2. Avatar Kwessi Pratt February 6th, 2013 at 2:58 pm

Plausible well sounding words are very well known to Kenyans. Anybody with heart of a decent leader armed with huge tracks of land, would have surrendered a few acres to his IDP folks. However, what we are witnessing is a case of a beneficiary pretentiously claiming that others are going to benefit under his watch! I thought a leader is supposed to lead by example? Those who still believe Kenyans are too gullible are going to be very disappointed this time round!!!!
