Capital Lifestyle reached out to Kitoto to find out how photography and Instagram have impacted his journey in Mobile Photography.

What cameras do you enjoy shooting with and what do you like most about them?

I love my Canon DSLR, that camera is my baby. I also use my iPhone a lot from time to time to capture everyday moments that pass me by.

Where do you shoot most of your photos and what sort of photos do you like to take best?

As far as my photography goes, I have a heart for travel and my love for travel has taken me to a few places here and there especially being a part of @onetouchlive (a group of photographers seeking to change the narrative written about this continent). I love to capture the beauty that surrounds us and its only when we travel we get to see what this lovely country and continent has to hold.

What are your top tips for taking captivating Instagram photos?

I think one you have to find your own niche, create your own style that can be noticed, something that can be said that is your identity.

I believe what we consume (visually) on a daily affects how we view the world, the only way to enhance creativity is to push your creativity and continually challenge yourself to be better.

Which Instagrammers do you recommend everyone to follow?

Wow thats a tough one, I can recommend so many but for now I can @thanabster is a great guy to follow his images are just awesome, @davidlloyd is one of my favorite wildlife photographers, I love how he captures the beasts in the wild. @rontimehin is a London based photographer with an amazing feed and I really like the edit and feel of the images posted.

How has Instagram influenced your profession and your business?

Instagram has made me think a lot outside the box and really see my style of shooting and how I view photography in a different light.

Being able to have a platform to see and interact with other photographers has also being a great way to influence my profession in a very positive way.
