Kanye West to launch DONDA cosmetics line

Kanye West has reportedly filed legal documents declaring his intention to produce a DONDA cosmetics range.

The 39-year-old rapper – who has three-year-old daughter North and Saint, 14 months with wife Kim Kardashian West – launched his DONDA creative content company in 2012 and the designer is now hoping to release a range consisting of make-up, perfume, lotions and more, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.

The ‘Famous’ rapper, who named his brand after his late mother Donda West, who passed away in 2007, previously announced he would also like to launch a full lifestyle brand, completely with “holograms”.

In the meantime, Kanye has been working on a new children’s fashion range with his ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star wife.

The 36-year-old beauty showcased a few of the garments from the capsule, which was modelled by their three-year-old child North, on social media.

The raven-haired beauty posted a string of short videos of her daughter in a yellow sequin dress, which was paired with a shearling coat, white socks and black trainers, on her Snapchat.

Speaking in the clip Kim said: “Let me see this outfit you have on. Do you see this Yeezy jacket? Is that a Yeezy yellow shearling?

“Daddy and mummy are doing a kids line and these are some of the pieces. Northie picked out the colours and the fabric.”

Kanye also recently debuted his most recent Yeezy Season five collection with Adidas at the New York Fashion week at Pier 59 Studios on Wednesday (22.02.17) after reportedly banning all phones from his models in a bid to ensure that details of the products did not leak.

The star is also believed to have to banned his in-laws including Kylie and Kris Jenner from taking a shot of his exclusive garments and Kendall, who also walked the catwalk.

I agree with you King. Uhuru supposedly one of the wealthiest (if not the wealthiest) and most powerful Kenyans, talking of dark forces coercing him? I am afraid to imagine what kind of puppet presidency would we have…

    2. Avatar blunttruth December 19th, 2012 at 9:06 pm

My dear King UK, How can you issue a statement ‘ DARK FORCES ‘? As a leader you have to be concious of what you say. Or else who will believe that we have a president who will use ‘ DARK FORCES’ or computer errors as his excuses for errors of billions of shillings, or for national interests.

  8. Avatar Gira December 19th, 2012 at 8:31 am

If he’s a real patriot who puts the interests of the Nation before him UK should just name the Powerful Persons.

President in Waiting, Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta. As the next (4th) head of State and Head of Government of the republic of Kenya, can i ask you to share the names of these dark forces, who used to devil arm twist, confuse, threaten and coerce you to sign an agreement of this nature. We have a new Katiba and no one is above the law. Name then and we the voters shall show them who owns Kenya on 4th March 2013.

Pls also take the BOLD initiative to assure our Wazungu friends that your Government, together with William Ruto and Balala and others, will be very friendly to 1) The US, 2) The UK, 3) France, 4) China and 5) Russia.

These are the countries that run the world via the UN security council and need to be reassured. This is politics at the Global level and cannot be wished away. We need them as much as they need us. We all heard from the Muzungus directly, the other day, and in broad daylight, that they do not have issues with anyone and will respect democracy in Kenya. Pls ignore all the noise coming from Kofi and his watalii visits and tell him that he is welcome to keep travelling to Kenya as we need more tourism revenue. He should be encouraged to continue spending whenever he is in the country.

To Mr Kenyatta. Am sorry that diaspora wont be able to vote cos you had my vote. Having said this, just allow me to criticize you for smoking something hard last last days and your team fro the shoddy finishing of your hard work thus betraying our trust in you.Never bargain again with cash on the table. Someone might snatch it and run. You have the people and so no other power other than that of the Kenyan people could have persuaded you to ditch your initial cause. We will decide whether we need wazungus or not. am married to one and she is just like Wanjiru and Akinyi. Africans should fight to decolonize their minds. I know that many people from Rift valley central and eastern had trusted you as their incredible Hawk. I hope you will not make any more mistakes like Mitt Romney did in the US elections.
Forget about all that and get the bull by its horns b4 it gets you. Even if you loose it will be a great fight for our Nation. Don`t tell us about a Kikuyu being a president cos RAO`s father was a Prime minister and Raila is today. Look what he is doing, just like President Putin is doing juggling btwn presidency and PM. Russian way.
