There are three ways to experience the perfect Valentine’s Day. One is to get wined and dined to some incredibly delicious food from a delightful world class chocolate-based menu. I’m a sucker for great service and I’m even a much bigger sucker for beautiful spaces. Lucky me I  got to experience those two things which I’m a sucker for together this previous weekend when I got to the chance to sample the Valentine’s Day stay package at dusitD2 Nairobi. This was all courtesy of the good people of dusitD2 as their kind way of letting me experience their one time special Valentine’s Day stay package that they’re offering their guests at a competitive promotional rate of Ksh17, 900. And what an amazing stay I had!

Back to my stay. I got a first class personalized treatment during my special Valentine’s weekend stay at dusitD2 D’Light room which included a few surprises that I loved getting. Besides the Bed and breakfast, I got “home-made” chocolate surprises delivered to my room seeing as the Chocolate Festival is ongoing. That was not all. With the stay came a bottle of sparkling wine, a bouquet of flowers all on the house and my partner and I got to access the hotel’s stylish facilities and amenities. It couldn’t possibly get better than that!

DusitD2 D’Light rooms boast bright, natural colors with local artisanal details-including a special elephant in the room-  and a separate lounge that enhances the entire space. The D’Light rooms provide an ideal intimate romantic couple’s getaway making it ideal for this Valentine’s Day.
